The Why is all about you and your role as leader of your business. It has to do with your vision for the company as well as the motivations that drive you to progress and to overcome obstacles.
After the Why has been established, you need to turn their attention to the Who, the people who will make up your team.
More than just putting an ad in the classified section of the newspaper, building a team requires having a corporate culture and defined values. This pillar MUST come after the Why, because if you don’t know which way your company is headed, how can you possibly hire the right people, the ones who will share your vision and will be passionate about the projects you take on?
The What and the How are the strategy and the systems, respectively. These are the tools that you will use to make your vision into a reality.
